Duty, VAT and OPT are three charges
T&T Customs assesses duty, VAT and Online Purchase Tax on imported goods. A duty-free item is usually still charged VAT and OPT, but a few classes are exempt from all three by law, including laptops and tablets, sporting equipment, EV charging equipment and CCTV. The calculator applies whichever exemptions your category carries.

It uses current Swiftbox rates and T&T Customs tariff rates. Actual charges can vary slightly with the exact HS code your item classifies under and the exchange rate at invoicing. Anything unusual — oversized, restricted, commercial quantities — message us before you buy.
